Dear Alverno Families,
As you know, Alverno is an independent school and receives funding through tuition, filming and weddings. In order to offer the highest quality programs, we must supplement them with class fees. Below is the Fee List for the 2020-2021 school year. You will notice that there was no increase in fees.
Academic fees include lab fees for all lab-based science courses (honors and AP pay slightly more). The physics courses include the book for the course which can be picked up from the teacher once the fee is paid. Because of the large amount of consumables used in fine arts, we have added a nominal fee in order to provide the students with the necessary supplies.
Online courses, theatre, and leadership have always paid a fee, but this year we have included them on the form.
Athletic fees are the same and each student will be buying her uniform and she will have her name on it. The Spirit Pack is required for each student playing a sport and includes warm-ups, an athletic bag, and a water bottle. The remainder of all fees helps to cover the cost of rentals, transportation, referees, and equipment. The athletes have been asking us to do this for a long time and we have listened.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Alverno Heights Academy.
