FOOTHILL UNITY CENTER FOOD DRIVE
WHAT: Families drop off suggested food or hygiene items at Foothill Unity or make a donation through Foothill Unity’s website.
WHEN: Now through April 19thfor item drop off and April 19th for online donations.
Foothill Unity Center in Monrovia provides food to the homeless and the underserved population residing in the cities of Arcadia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bradbury, Duarte, Irwindale, Monrovia, Sierra Madre, Temple City, Altadena, Pasadena and South Pasadena . Drop your Food Drive donation items off at Foothill Unity Center in Monrovia until Monday, April 19th . (Subject Line Example: Smith family, Foothill Unity). Please see the attached PDF for the list of items needed for the Foothill Unity Center Food Drive Project, and available drop off times.

WHAT: Families will write ten (10) personal letters of appreciation for Deployed Troops, Veterans, Recruit Graduates, First and Frontline Responders, or Wounded Heroes and their Caregivers.
WHEN: Now through April 19th.
Please see the attached PDF for guidelines and printable letter templates. Take photos of the ten letters and your family mailing your Operation Gratitude envelope or box! Then submit your photos to LS_volunteers@alvernoheights.org AND email@example.com with the family name and project in the subject line by April 19th for two (2) hours volunteer credit (Subject Line Example: Smith family, Operation Gratitude).
