ROAR- Afterschool Enrichment

(Session 1 September 20-December 16)

R.O.A.R, the after-school enrichment program, is designed to offer fun and creative activities for students (TK-8th) on campus. Session 1 classes are held once a week from 3:00-4:00 pm beginning the week of September 20th through December 16th. Jag Care students will be escorted to Ms. Rocio in room 116. Students going home can be picked up in the Wilson parking lot at 4:00 pm. Cost is $15.00 per class (holidays excluded).  
**Please register by this Friday, September 17th. Cost will be added to your F.A.C.T.S account. Classes begin next Monday September 20, 2021.**

Art Around the World Ms. Richter
(Grades 1 and up) Cost: $150.00
Get ready to discover art from around the world! Here you will find art techniques from all over the globe. In this class, students can make cool multicultural creations as they learn more about the world around them.
Chess with Coach Jeff Schwartz
(Grades 2 and up) Cost: $150.00
Jeff Schwartz has played tournament chess since he was a freshman in college. He first learned to play chess in sixth grade.
Coach Jeff and his company are in 16 elementary schools throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

This class is an introduction to three dimensional form and space, exploring the aesthetic and conceptual possibilities of a variety of materials.
Engineers are Creators with Ms. Richter
(Grades 3 and up) Cost $ 180.00
Space shuttles and bridges don’t build themselves. They need dreamers, tinkers, and problem solvers. In this class, students will explore concepts of physics, architecture, structural engineering, and so much more! We will work together to make inventive solutions in a fun-filled environment that supports the growth of young minds through hands-on, minds-on learning.
