Welcome Letter from Kari Irvin, Assistant Head of School: Contains information about fees, forms, and the schedule for the first two days of school on August 16 and August 17.
Back to School Forms: This page contains two sets of the forms. The first, “Back to School Forms: Required for All Families” are the required forms for ALL families in the school. These must be completed and submitted by Friday, August 10. The second set of forms is only necessary if your daughter(s) is/are planning on playing a sport. These forms must be on file prior to her try-out for any sport. Please note that there will be a doctor on campus on Thursday, August 16 who will be able to conduct physicals for a nominal $25 fee. Both sets of forms will be completed through DocuSign. Student Fees: Information about academic, student life, and athletic fees for the 2018-2019 school year. All appropriate fees will be added to your family’s FACTS account. Questions regarding fees should be directed to Lee Ann Bechthold, Business Manager, at email@example.com.

The Alverno Fund (formerly known as the Annual Giving Campaign) and to our Annual Gala Event. Your gift provides us with the funds necessary to maintain the level of excellence in our academic and co-curricular programs that our families have come to expect from Alverno. Make your fundraising donation in full by Friday, August 17, 2018 and you will receive an “early-bird” donation discount of 10%, reducing your total amount to $720.00!

EdTech Book Ordering and Ordering Books from EdTech Through Amazon: EdTech is Alverno’s official book vendor. These two flyers contain information regarding ordering textbooks from EdTech and ordering books from Amazon through EdTech. If you have questions regarding textbooks and ordering, please contact Hoku Janbazian, Librarian, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Student-Parent Handbook: There have been several significant changes to the Student-Parent Handbook this year, please make sure you review the handbook as a family paying close attention to the highlighted sections.
Parking Permit Instructions: If your daughter(s) will be driving to school during the 2018-2019 school year, please be aware that she must purchase a parking permit for $25 to park in the Wilson Parking Lot. Students without a parking permit will receive a $25 parking ticket for each day they are without a permit.
Summer English Assignments: Don’t forget that all Alverno students have a summer reading assignment based on the English class they are enrolled in. These books and assignments must be completed by the first full week of classes. If you have questions regarding the assignments, please contact the specific teacher for your daughter’s course.
Summer Math Assignments: Students entering Geometry, Geometry Fundamentals, Algebra II, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry Honors, Pre-Calculus, and Pre-Calculus Honors have a summer math assignment. These assignments must be completed by the first full week of classes.
