Alverno Heights Academy Athletic Fields Construction has begun. We have contracted with Courtney Construction, Inc. of Sierra Madre and this past December demolition of our existing fields took place to begin constructing new athletic fields and practice track.
Most of the demolition took place during Christmas break, so the disruption to classes was minimal. We anticipate that the entire project will take approximately six months to complete. This addition to the 13 acre campus will be utilized by all students for school functions and host special events, like Mary’s Day (spirit day) and pep rallies! All of our athletic teams will practice and train on these new grounds. The soccer and softball will play official CIF matches on the new field for the 2019-2020 season. We are also excited to share the facilities with our local community!
We look forward to updating you on our progress as we move ahead with the construction of the project. We are so excited to take this next step in support of Alverno’s Master Plan and we look forward to witnessing all the ways in which our students, and our school as a whole, will
benefit from our new athletic facilities. Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign.
Although we are beginning the demolition and construction process, we are still working
to secure final gifts for the campaign. If you are interested in helping us round third base click here to donate!
